This Queen Victoria Agave (Agave victoriae-reginae) waited about 10 years to bloom, and launched a flowering spike about 12 feet tall. This web-page features a time-sequence of photos, wide-angle and macro, from the first emergence of the stem, to the seed-pods as they start to open.
